As you all know, there's a talk about a Valuev vs. Holyfield return bout.
Remember this. In the summer Holy wasn't rated by the WBA.
Then, he suddenly - after a year of inactivity - popped up as their #12 on their ratings.
Why? Because, according to the WBA rules, a fighter must be rated by the organization if he shall challenge for its "world" titles.
Even if Holy had beaten Valuev in their Dec. clash, I wouldn't have regarded him as the "oldest world heavy champ ever". Because this was only WB*******s and Sauerland Promotion ****. It was the WBA heavy title (their "B" version, Chagaev still holds the "A") - and far, far from the World Heavyweight Title.

Having read this site for a while, I understand that the younger generation pay a lot more attention to what the alphabetic WB **** gangsters say than us older ones. If a guy conquer the WBConeheads or the IBFarts title, he is directly a legitimate 'world' champ in the youngsters' eyes.
