We'll see how it turns out, I'll let this go for about a day or so, looks like Berto is making a comeback.

I think people are overrating Pacquaio a bit, because he beated DLH. I think he cant stand with any top WW!!!! He is just too small. And if a fight with Cotto or Margarito happends youll see Pacquaio getting really hurt!!!!!!!

        Let's try this again.

        Round 1

        Manny Pacquiao vs Andre Berto

        Miguel Cotto vs Joshua Clottey

        Antonio Margarito vs Shane Mosley

        Floyd Mayweather vs Paul Williams
Pac ain't fighting at 147 again, but at a catchweight of say 143-144 I'd give Pac a chance to beat Berto. at 147 Berto is just too big and strong.

Cotto/Clottey is a great fight and imho that's who Cotto should fight as a tune up for Money Marg, but it is a tough fight for Cotto. Both guys fade late (good for cotto), cotto is the aggressor and clottey is the counterpuncher... I might have to go w/ Clottey on this one since styles makes fight and Clottey was able to take Money Marg's punishment while Cotto was not.

If Mosley stands and trades w/ Money Marg he will lose. If Mosley boxes he could win w/ a decision. Money Marg is too slow.

        Floyd will never fight Williams.

I'm not sure about Pacquiao-Berto, Berto's level of opposition has been nowhere near the level of a fighter like Pacquiao and he's a relatively small welterweight, tough fight to call.

            Cotto
            Margarito
            Mayweather

Hmmm, this is a rather difficult choice all around. I think I would have to go with these:

              Berto
              Clottey
              Margarito
Mayweather (if we're talking the active Mayweather)

They're all quite close fights though so they could all definitely go either way. The simple fact that Williams is a twenty foot tall southpaw that throws a hundred punches a round could give Mayweather problems, just as Berto has never faced anyone of Pac's caliber so that fights is also hard to truly judge. Cotto, in my opinion, would be out-boxed and out-fought in a very tough fight for both guys. Clottey's defense and his fantastic, short left hooks and uppercuts would be crucial in this fight. I think Mosley is simply too old to compete with Margarito now.

I agree with you Benny, they are all very tough fights to call, tells us a little bit about the status of the Welterweight division. It's a great one. Hope some of these fights can be made. We know Margarito and Mosley will bring it.

berto-too strong for pac and handspeed is faster
clottey-yes, i do believe clottey would beat cotto
mosley-the only i'm picking mosley over tony is because with mosley--you really never know and tony is slow and shane can win a ud over him i believe. this was a tough one.
mayweather-no shock here. paul leaves himself too open to the body and floyd is the master at breaking you down, has much better defense. paul got caught a lot in his last fight and in the 1st quitana fight. i don't see him beating floyd, period. this would be floyd's best competiton though. only paul, nobody else.

i see floyd winning this again, no surprise. it cracks me up though. for a guy who doesn't fight the best ww's to you people, you always have him beating the guys he hasn't fought. if floyd gets past paul williams in this round, he's taking it i bet you.
