The Boxing equivalent of today's UFC card

Here is what a boxing version of today's UFC card would look like:

Calzaghe vs Dawson = Griffin vs Evans
Hopkins vs Johnson = Rampage vs Silva
Vitali vs Chagaev = Mir vs Nogueira

all on the same night. That is why UFC is growing so fast.

I honestly don't recognize any of the names on the card other then rampage and silva.
My friend invited me over the house to watch it.. I'm gonna go but for the BBQ and beer.
While they are watching grown men play grab ass.. I'll be watching Marvin Hagler videos on the iPhone

90% of the streetfighters in ufc are untrained and unskilled bums. Comparing them with the top boxers is completely laughable.

This will be the first UFC I'm getting since Rampage-Lidell. Could be great.

I'll always be a boxing fan and never a UFC fan, but the boxing promoters have GOT TO START PUTTING ON SOME BETTER BOXING CARDS!

We're getting PPVs like Calzaghe-Jones and Pavlik-Hopkins with only ONE good matchup.

At the same time, the promoters are having good fighters go through LONG PERIODS of inactivity. Examples: Cunningham, Lyakhovich, Golovkin, Mormeck, etc.

the reason UFC can put on these cards is because they don't have to pay fighters as much..
When you say boxers should get payed less then people get angry but then they want better cards.
You can't have both.. it's one or the other.
