The two fights they had both could have gone either way. And both were really good fights.


I'd say Marquez definitely deserves another shot.

The dude deserves a third fight, pac should have gotten teh first and teh second fight was damn close it could have gone either way.

The sad thing is that Manny gets nothing from Marquez. The haters are all gonna say that Marquez is just another old man in Pac resume, or that Diaz picked JMM apart and Pac just finished him off.

He deserves it, but Pac don't owe it to him if that makes any sense. The fact that he really lost twice to Pac keeps Pac from bein obligated, even tho the decisions were close. I'd still like to see them fight again, but it might take a while. Hopefully PBF will stay retired or fight a WW and leave Pac open for a fight after Hatton.

What has Juan Manuel Marquez done since the losing to Manny. Nothing. He beat an old solid veteran in Cassamayor. He gets props for that, and then what. He nneds to earn a title fight for the 3rd time. What JMM nneds to do is stop flying to the Phillipines and beat and clean out the 135lb division. And then he will earn that fight. Manny gave him 2 chances and if it wasn't for a judges error would have beat him twice. A close decision win is exactly what it is a close win.

Winning both fights with Pac pretty much qualifies him in my eyes....
