In early December, unbeaten junior welterweight prospect Alex de Jesus (19-0, 13KOs) aka "El Pollo" was arrested in Puerto Rico on charges of domestic abuse and a weapons violation. He was held at a regional jail in Bayamon for nine-days. De Jesus says the days in jail did him good and now that he's out - he plans to straighten out his life and win a world title in 2009.
