Aaron "Hawk Pryor Vs. Manny Pacquiao @ 140

Aaron Pryor only fought a few southpaws none of them even close to Pacman's speed and power, but Pryor definitely had problems with lefties as he was knocked down by a southpaw and won over another southpaw by a mere split decision at 140. But he is also unbeaten at 140 and has beaten Arguello twice at that weight (well Arguello moved up from 135), but Arguello's only similarity with Pacman was his power, so we can't use him as a gauge.
I say Pacquiao has enough tools to land enough powershots to slow down and win over the Hawk.Comment

but a fighter not known for his power managed to KO Pryor? It can be argued that Arguello's style was tailor-made for Pryor.Comment

Besides the two year layoff, which now should be a warning to Floyd,

According to Pryor, his career was derailed by a descent into drug dependency that began shortly after his November 1982 victory over Alexis Arguello, the first of two classic battles he waged against Arguello while Pryor was the World Boxing Association junior welterweight champion
Which I hear wasn't a big secret and why he retired in the first place.Comment
