I'm tired of the two guys who sell the most tickets in these 'super-fights'

I'd always pick Taylor if he had more confidence and better stamina.

Taylor is one of the most talented 160/168 lb fighters out there right now.

he has the talent/skill to be a crafty boxer that packs a great punch...
he just seems so unmotivated to me.



Even though he won big against lacy he still seemed vulnerable.

It matters on which taylor shows up to the fight honestly...if we see the BEST jermain taylor then he wins a decision...if we see a taylor who is unsure of himself then kessler stops him.

Taylor dosen't hit that hard, his last stoppage win was almost 4 years ago back in Feb 2005.

I think Taylor hitting hard is a bit of a myth at the top level.

He hits as hard as Joe Calzaghe.

Taylor has not been the old Taylor since his 2 fights with Hopkins in which he was an animal who gave Hopkins a run for his money.. After that he 'forgot' his great jab and lost some motivation. Then he had a couple of great fights with Pavlik that brought back some of the old Taylor but he lost both fights and just didn't look good against Lacy.. Which was a boring fight IMO.

Kessler right now would eat him straight up.

I tried to tell peeps that Hopkins ruined the kid .....NOBODY goes 24 rounds with B-Hop without losing their prime....Real Talk! Check out all the dudes Hopkins fought more than once!

mikkel by a long shot, even if taylor has eveything including his jab firing on all cylinders i can still see mikkel taking the W. an on form JT has a great jab and good combinations, he can fight at a higher pace than mikkel as well imo (although the extra weight may make a differnce) but i just see mikkel having too much, he hits harder, is just as accurate, just as quick and a better combo pucnher than he is sometimes given credit for. alot of ppl dismiss mikkel as a 1,2 fighter ubut he has a good left hook, an awesome right uppercut, i still think he should go to the body more often.

agree that this is a fight that needs to be made for 2009 and for the good of the SMW's
