hopefully the rumors are dead because the negotiations are dead. I really don't care to see this fight. this fight does nothing for p-will's legacy. he needs to fight the top dogs at 154 or if Marg stops being a *****, he should fight him. anything else would be a waste of time.

do you think anyone will give p-will credit for this win? I think cleaning out the 154 division > beating winky. as great a fighter as winky "WAS", he is 38 years old, he has been inactive for about 2 years, and has won only 1 of his last 3 fights. the only reason he is taking this fight is because HBO is forcing him into it.

I have Winky as one of my favorites,Paul as well,but i think Winky is getting to old to tangle with someone like PW,Id rather see Winky beat Forest and then lose to PW,just to not lose right now!

can winky even make 154 anymore? i thought that by now hed be a MW, i dont see him being able to make 154, not after going up for b-hop, i think he should look to fight pvlik pavlik is a good fighter but someone with winkys smars would tear his head off and p!ss down his neck.

thing is winky is constantly pricing himself out of the big fights, he seems to think hes worth more than he actually he is. hes a good fighter but hes safety first and the biggest names on his resume is a WW.

imo PW would take the decision with a UD or a SD, PW is just too busy. intially i think winky would do well but when PW starts to use his height and box smart i see him taking the W.

Yeah Williams is at a point where he needs to just take the biggest fight available, one right after another. I had suspected he would be able to get the guys holding the straps to fight him up at 54, and that seems to be that case.
Id like to see him fight Sergei or Martinez next.
Of course the Wright fight would be a big deal if he could land it.
