    Is Calzaghe retiring or what?

So what the status on Joe Calzaghe? Is he retiring or what? If he is one of the greatest me personally he still has to prove it. Regardless how he defended his record in Europe, there are still a couple fighters left in the states.

    Light Heavy right?

Well actually, i guess all that's left are washed up old fighters from the 1990's.
It really don't matter to me, i'm not what you call a Calzaghe fan. But if he's going to still fight more power to him. If he's going to retire, IMO, i don't think that he'll be a prominent figure to remember 25 years down the road.

He should fight Dawson. But I have no idea what Joe's actual plans are.

Why Dawson when he could have and easier fight against Johnson and probably make more money?

        Old man Dawson?

Dawson's tough though. He's the one that grunts when he punches right? The Jamacian?

Joe is looking for a good farewell fight but I don't think there is one out there. No one with a big enough name.

I heard he is calling out Michael Spinks, and wants to face him for a LH bout. Beat him, so a few rotten British tabloids and dumb "fans" can call him "Legend-Killer" and talk about how how undefeated he is etc. etc.

Damn, i always get those two names mixed up...

              Glen Johnson and Chad Dawson....

              Old man Johnson not Dawson.

*****, fcuk it....if Calzghe's really bouty bout it, he should fight both of them and then say done dilly.

Dawson, he was ignored. The was the linear champion and has Glen Jonhson's tittle. You know something is very fishy in boxing when you hear rumors (which is promoter work really) about a Glen Jonhson fight but not about a Dawson fight, the man who beat Glen and the only fight that makes competitive sense.

I say he should fight Dawson because Calzaghe has been fighting old men and he's catching criticism for it. Beating a young solid opponent might help...

                    Who cares.

He's done nothing for the sport, and did nothing when he could...yet has the audacity to say that boxing is a dying sport.

Yeah, well uh...its because we have fighters like you !

                    **** him.
