Mayweather could make 135 if he really wanted to.

Fight night they are both 148 and 149.

Even if Mayweather made 135, it would affect him, meaning he wouldn't be as effective as he would be at 140 or 147, unlike Pacquiao who can make 135 without difficulty and is most effective there.

He would be more effective. He would be faster and stronger than any LW right now

I seriously doubt that because most of his body is muscle, meaning if he loses that weight, it could affect him a lot, losing muscle mass is much harder than losing fat. Mayweather is 147 pounds of solid muscle.

Ali was the clearly the better fighter but Foreman started favourite due to his previous bouts which he dominated just like Pacman.

It should not be who is the better fighter but base it on form and activity

                      Yea, remind me....

                      ..who won, Foreman or Ali?

Foreman was favoured because he was destroying everyone, he knocked out Frazier in 2 rounds, Frazier had beaten Ali, Ali was older, and considered past his best...

Mayweather is considered to be in his prime..
