No Maybe about it, SRR was plain quicker than Pac and hits harder while having a height, reach and chin advantage.

SRR knocked out Middleweights, WITH ONE PUNCH WHILE GOING BACKWARDS.

Pacs top 25 all time IMO but SRR is rated as the greatest ever for a reason.

SRR by KO in 4 rounds

Just to be compared with the great Sugar Ray Robinson is accomplishment enough. This thread sucks BTW.

No one gives Pac a shot even the circus station to beat Oscar.?

        Anything is possible.!

        NO.

Pacquaio isnt even hurting Robinson, who had one of the greatest chins in the history of the universe.

This fantasy match-up is good for nothing until both boxers squares up in the ring, which we know will never happen. You can argue all you want that SRR takes this one sitting down, and I'm sure there's always two sides of a coin.

You're all delusional if you pick either or.

This mythical match-up is a trap, nobody can prove anybody wrong, because it can't be proved. Get on with your dull lives and see the world...

Erm why are you even here then?

Mythical match-ups are boxing forums bread and butter.

Just not when you get silly ones like Pacquaio (1 fight at the weight) vs the greatest Welterweight in history.

Also the Salvador vs Manny Pavquaio match-uup is silly.

I'm just sick and tired of seeing comments like, "WTF?!?" when somebody picks the one that doesn't go with his choice, like he knows his **** when it comes to boxing, you what? Your take or my take don't mean diddly squat when it comes to boxing, because anybody can beat anybody on any given day, that why we hear the word "upset" come up every now and then.

These mythical match-ups are not the bread and butter of a boxing forum, it's just the dessert. We often talk about current champions going up against prospects, contenders and tomato cans/bums/palookas too. This thread is just made to stir things up and "work" the other side, trying to illicit responses from the fans of the other boxer, and refute them like he can prove he's right. How can we prove if these so called fantasy match-ups can't happen?

I don't think it would be competitive. SRR is naturally a middleweight, maybe a jr middleweight at that.

At welterweight? I think SRR would whoop on my boi Pacman. But Pacman would whoop on SRR at Kareokee. LOL.

Robinson, if anything, was a natural WW. His best weight, and maybe it had something to do with age as well, wasn't at MW.

You know he actually started out lighter than WW and even fought Willie Pep and beat him in the amatuers? That's what I hear.
