    Pacquiao vs Berto at Welter...

...could set up a Super fight with Miguel Cotto. If he beats Berto, he takes the coveted Green Belt and cements himself as a 147 pound champion. Miguel Cotto would probably have another alphabet strap and what do you got, a unification Welterweight Super Fight. Also, a win over one of the top young Welters would help sell a fight against Cotto; seems many don't give Manny a shot against him.

I think Pacquaio would have the chance to outbox Berto, because Berto is unexperienced. But Pacuaio will have to be strickly boxing, because Berto could stop him in the later rounds. I believe that Berto takes a D.

People here are overrating Pacquaios victory over DLH. I dont think Pacquaio can beat any live WW!!!!!!!!!

I say Manny beats Berto. But in the end it wont really matter whether he ever fights Berto or not. If Manny beats Hatton and Cotto beats Margarito that fight will happen and it'll be for the undisputed welterweight championship.

All this of course is assuming floyd stays retired which unlike most people....i believe he will.

...for the undisputed welterweight championship? I believe Manny and Ricky are fighting at 140lbs.

A fight between Manny and Cotto should be at a catch weight of about 144 or 45 pounds to make it entirely fair though.

Yes Manny and Ricky are fighting at 140.

Cotto and Margarito will be fighting for the undisputed WW championship which Margarito carries.

Both guys win and the fight happens. They could very well make it at a catchweight but i think Pacquiao would be willing to take the risk of making it for the belts

            Cotto won't beat Margarito.

Pacquiao will most likely never fight at WW again. If he fights Mayweather this hype will come to an end.
