    i reserve judgement for PW

Aiite, so i got my first full fight on Paul Williams. The Verno Phillips vs. Williams. The Punisher looked pretty good for a southpaw. He had style, he had finesse, grace, technique, aggressive tactics and some power.

He kept Verno Phillips at Bay even after getting a cut over his right eye. Williams was able to stay calm even with the cut.

Williams did in fact "punish" Phillips throughout the rounds. Verno tried to cover up, but he was just being pummeled with William's aggressive shots.

I would say that William's performance was worth watching. After conqouring Phillips, the Quintana beating, and the Margarito victory puts Williams in a position of recognition.

What was Paul William's amatuer background?

I think Williams had very little, if any, amateur career. Although, i'm not 100% on that, so wait for confirmation on that.

I respect that. I have been watching him for a minute now. I'm a fan. Your from the Bay? Sac-Town here.

What i was impressed about the most was Williams style. He clearly is a fighter, that's apparent. I like his swagger in the ring. If you pay attention, his boxing stance resembles that of street boxing. Ya know? His hands are relatively low, he's a southpaw (but i bet he's really right handed), moves his head when he's getting into his groove.

Nah, i'm gonna have to start doin research on Williams. He's a young cat too.

Williams and Berto. I think i like Willliams a little better than Dawson. I watched the Tarver/Dawson fight and that was pretty boring. He couldn't make Tarver quit.

Who's next for PW?? What's his weight? 160's right? What if Kelly Pavlik fought Williams. That would be a good fight.

i'm a big time pw fan but, he gets touched too much for my liking(nit picking). its unfortunate he is not fighting the "elite" right now. he is the best ww hands down and should aggressively shake up n clear out 154.
