That's why you gotta love the guy, but he needs to think before he opens his mouth, or poses holding Wlad's bloody head.

And the story line for Valuev would be somewhat intriguing, even though Valuev sucks. It would be for a belt, and Haye is following in Holyfield's footsteps as a former cruiser. Haye would avenge his hero's loss with a KO, and then boxing fans wouldn't have to continue the embarrassment of calling Valuev one of the heavyweight champs.

there's a couple ways to look at this situation
Boxing is a business, the Heavyweight division lacks depth and the players to produce high profile matchups. Haye understands that and understands that he has an opportunity to position himself for a very big payday and a chance to be the HW champion of the world. But lets get real Haye has more than a suspect chin, never faced a big quality heavyweight like either of the Klitschkos and instead of fighting the one brother he may actaully have a chance to KO he chooses Vitali who has shown a very good set of whiskers. Id say he has little chance at winning but it should make for a high profile fight for boxing. I think deep down he realizes this and is making a smart play for big money.

On the other hand he is a guy with a lot of swagger and maybe he really thinks he can and will beat both brothers and take over the division.

Haye is the most overrated boxer in the world, he is nothing special...He will be forgotten about quite quickly after he gets KO'd by Vitali.
