We are talking about the same guy who was dropped by CESAR AMONST,GRAHM EARL,DROPPED 3 TIMES AND KNOCKED OUT BY A 37 year old CASAMAYOR who by the way hadn't scored a knockout in 4 years.MANNY didn't get hit more than 3 TIMES GOOD ALL FIGHT against OSCAR,and still he COULDN'T drop OSCAR ,OSCAR in my opinion gave up because he couldn't land on the guy all night his eye was getting bad to see out of and he was only going to fade more and catch more punches for the next 3 rounds.KATSIDIS who if meomory serves me correct was dropped by a CASAYMAYOR jab in the first,is not quick with a shaky chin.KATSIDIS is NOT MANNY he gets hit and GETS HURT BAD!!! this fight doesn't see round 3.OSCAR ko'S KATSIDIS rd 3.WATCH KATSIDIS-JUAN DIAZ it looks like BRENDAN SMITH already has understood the flaw with KATSIDIS's whiskers and has him fighting the KLITSHKO,HATTON,HOPKINS-HIT,HOLD-HIT AGAIN AND HOLD style ,so popular with fighters today lacking a BEARD.The up side is KATSIDIS may get knocked out less the downside is MICHAEL KATSIDIS can never call himself a WARRIOR again,WARRIORS would rather get knocked out than HOLD ON.Number 2 is you havn't seen KATSIDIS fighting since .Why?Because holding leads to BORING FIGHTS.ASK HOPKINS AND KLITSHKO fans how exciting their fighters are?Imagine what PAQUIA would do to THIS VERSION of CASAYAMAYR -3 ROUNDS OR LESS.katsidis JUST DOESN'T HAVE THE BEARD TO PKLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS.

      get up close.

The ref will be a non-issue here, Pacman's elusive enough to not get caught on the ropes for Hatton to pummel away.

On a side note, I've never seen a Pacman fight were the ref had a hard time handling the fight, or did I missed one? Enlighten me anyone...

This is what ima say....what Pacquiao did to DLH? He took it easy on him. There was no fight. Pacquiao is a fighter, he loves the heat of the battle. Since there was no fight in Oscar, there was no need for Pacquiao to turn it up. But with Ricky Hatton, he likes to scrap so Pacquiao is going to eat him up. I wonder if Hatton is even going to give Pacquiao a fight? I think he will. I think Hatton will start to unravel in the late rounds.

If it goes past 9, it'll probably go to the cards. Split decision Pacquiao. that's the worst case senario.

I think Hatton will give him a fight. With all them drunk ass Brits and Pacquiao's disciples...it should be a good show. It should be at least.

Aiite....I'm a Hatton fan and Pacquiao is my hero...i just wanna see a good fight, with Pacquiao as the winner. KO or not.

Interesting topic, here's how it goes:

Ten posts saying "Pac will destroy Hatton lamo Haten cant take a punch he was KILLED IN THE RING by light punchers like Juan Urango and Kostya Tszyu!!!111111111lamo"
One post saying "Hey I think Pac will likely win but you can't count a fighter like Hatton out"
Ten posts of "lamo your a hatERZ! Pac will make crows eat youse lamo PAC ROOLZ!111"

I'm basing my prediction of a Pacquiao win on my observation that Hatton has a suspect chin.
I assume in this festive season that you are drunk.

Anyone who gets that badly hurt by light punchers like Luis Collazo and Juan Lazcano is in for a long night with a puncher like Pacquiao
Luis Collazo has knockout wins at Jr Middleweight and hit Hatton with several clean combinations and Hatton did not go down. If Hatton had a "suspect chin" he would have been at least dropped and probably stopped by the punches he took in the 12th. Instead he had a bad 30 seconds and went straight back on the attack. I wish people would watch fights instead of just reading about it and rehashing it all.

Mayweather knocked Hatton out, Pac hits harder than Mayweather and I think he's even faster.
Mayweather basically beat on Hatton for three full rounds before throwing a peach of a left hook. Hatton was cleary frustrated at being hindered by the referee and being unable to land at will. Pac is not as elusive as Mayweather and hopefully there won't be terrible refereeing.

Hatton will get his wig peeled back
You used this phrase at least twice along with a couple of others. If you have something new to add then feel free to do so. If you don't then don't bother. Don't just repeat your post, there be spamming.

But before I go please tell me why Hatton didnt see Floyds check hook coming even after Floyd was throwing it prior to the knock out? Maybe its because he was too busy trying to hold and smother Floyd and kept his face open to much.
Oops, a simple Check Hook drops Hatton imagine what a straight left would do.
Oops a simple three rounds worth of straight right hands and elbows to the face followed by a clean hook while running in with your hands down and falling into the turnbuckle dropped Hatton, what's Pac going to do, bring a folding chair to the ring?

Again I implore you to watch fights. Here's a hint: Looking at animated gifs on NSB does not constitute "watching a fight".

Pacquiao is a southpaw. Who was the last southpaw Hatton crushed?
Juan Urango who he beat 11 rounds to one with a chest infection. And who is now (and then) top ten rated and highly rated as a puncher.

Against Urango, he dominated, but Ricky really shows his flaws, I mean, it's so excruciating and boring to watch Ricky at times, he really hits and holds and it screws up the flow of the fight.
Yeah he was ill. Remember that fight? Absolutely one sided through four rounds, got hurt in the fifth, smashed the crap out of Urango in the sixth and then faded badly and was told by Billy Graham to kill the fight to preserve the big money bout against (at the time) number 2 rated Castillo.

Hatton's not got much defense, and I can see Pacquiao landing hard, straight lefts on Ricky's face as he comes in. I figure that anyone who can punch should be able to beat Hatton at this point. That's why Malignaggi was a good choice of opponent. Any other elite-type fighter around that weight class has a great chance to knock him out. I'd also include lightweights like Nate Campbell, junior welters like Ricardo Torres, and welters like Judah, Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Clottey, maybe Berto all to KO Hatton.
but you could counter that by saying cos pac has been knocked out too,he has a suspect chin!!! i think your a bit of a hater![/QUOTE]

When..? 10 years ago or 13 years ago when he was just a boy and was not fighting for a wider arena??? You must be kidding!!!

                    • smith could be right, pacquiao has not face a pressure fighter like hatton before.
pacquiao had a problem when he faced husein husein, pacquiao was knocked down at that fight due to the punch at the head. pacquiao was exhausted becuase of the pressure that husein gave. but that was long ago, pacquiao is the best now, he knows how to handle that kind of fight now. if the one who flushes the right punch first, will win, and...that will be pacquiao.
