^^ as if you actually know who Norwood is. respected posters already adimt they didnt see him fight in the 90's. go eat a volcano taco and wack off your frat brother. "lilhagler" was a stud back in the day. same as the Tim Austin's, Tom Johnson's and Kennedy friggin McKinney'sComment

yep. true dat. JMM couldnt handle Norwoods style back then. it is amazing to see how far he has come. Hamed was smart for ducking him. but back in 98 Freddie was the ****. ppl want to put Morales/MAB on top, but back then there was one man standing in there way. too bad we never saw those fights. instead it was "smoke" gainer vs all the good mexicans. damn shame imoComment

Between late-97 and mid-00 he notched wins against
Agapito Sanchez
Antonio Cermeno (x2)
Juan Manuel Marquez
Julio Pablo Chacon
Plus a few other good fighters (Mendoza [past his best], Matsumoto, & Koshimoto)
Not a bad 2 1/2 year stretch. Just think of what he could have done, had he not had weight issues.Comment

exactly bro. and I am not trying to start **** but didnt Manny draw against Agapito? and lose to JMM? all in good fun, though what could have become to Freddie "lil Hagler" Norwood? ...sighBetween late-97 and mid-00 he notched wins against

Well I felt Manny really did win both of his fights against JMM.
I will say though the Pacquiao draw vs Sanchez was an extremely ugly affair. A very shameful moment in boxing, that only gives ammunition to those who dont like the sport. Sanchez opened a cut on Manny early on hin the fight, and as the rounds went by he went about trying to tear it open further by any means necessary. He grinded his glove into it in clinches, used the laces of his glove, and the tape at the base of his glove.Comment

yeah Agapito wasnt a saint in that fight. and I admit that was back when I didnt really know who Manny was, so I probably sided with sanchez(rightfully?), who knows though I thoguh Mijares would beat VicComment
