From what we saw on TV, he was robbed for sure. Some may argue that ringside press scored it for Valuev, but I have no clue why.
One of the biggest and most blatant robberies in recent years.
Put up a poll in this thread. I'd guess around 80-90% would say yes, he was robbed.

That was the worst robbery I"ve seen other than Foreman vs. Briggs. From what we saw on TV, he was robbed for sure. Some may argue that ringside press scored it for Valuev, but I have no clue why.

Scoring the huge Valuev in fights seems to be a real anomaly, which is partially why I think were seeing all this.
The latest article has really surprised me. How it can be called a close fight compared with Valuev's others is beyond me. He did a lot more against the likes of Ruiz and Barrett to win, throwing way more.
In this fight he barely threw a combination in the entire fight, and Evander certainly landed more.
It's mind boggling Valuev could get away with doing so little and getting the nod. Literally, perhaps he could just throw his arms out at random intervals every minute or so to keep people away and landing so much, and that's enough to win now. It's ridiculous.Comment
