Here's the thing though, he has guys he can fight, the fights just aren't on his terms always. Financially, television, that kind of thing.

I'm going to say it straight up, it's not promoters or fighters ducking each other that hurts the sport, it's the networks.

But if there is one thing we can be certain of, whenever Johnson is hungry for a big money fight, he will release a presser detailing who is ducking him this week. It has nothing to do with ducking, it has much more to do with finances. You can't finance a big Johnson fight on ESPN and HBO is more interested in Tarver.

HBO and Showtime do whatever Gary Shaw tells them to do, he is their programming director essentially. Tarver and Dawson are both Shaw fighters, not Johnson.
