If a boxer can make weight on his first try at the weigh in, he has a right to fight in that weight class. You can't blame fighters for exploiting the rules that were supposedly made to protect them.

Williams and Margarito get most of the hate because of their height. Clottey is physically bigger than both guys.

Oh I agree. I have no problem with them, hell even Josh Clottey. It just seems ****** when people ***** about Margarito and Williams, but not Clottey.

tell flawless this, he seem's to have a huge problem with these guys and dont want mayweather fighting them, he thinks it's unfair. some choose to gain a lot of to gain power some dont to maintain speed

You know what? I had said this way before that Margarito with the exception of Cotto was fighting fighters as big or bigger than him. I even started a thread about this and all the Margaito hater insisted that Clotty was so much smaller.

God Damn I feel vindicated and I can't wait to see what bull**** the margo haters will come up with now.

There is nothing wrong with Margarito and Williams (or Clottey) fighting at 147lbs. People just hate on Tony and Paul because they're so tall, they think it's automatic grounds to move up in weight.

By the way Corrales-Clottey is a very awesome fight. Clottey looks pretty good and so did Corrales surprisingly. I heard this fight was a blowout, and it was, but Corrales put up a much better outing then I thought he would have. Especially in rounds 4, 6, and 7.

Oh and Steve Albert's commentating in this fight is absolutely fantastic. "IT'S DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN!!" When corrales gets a point deducted is a great line.

Because he has an even smaller fan base, and does not have many big fights. Corrales also weighed about 160 (If I heard correctly), so he wasn't completely screwed (weight-wise).
