besides us boxing junkies of course. He has a style and personality that would shine here in the states imo.

I really hope he can beat Vitali and then get some exposure and land with HBO soon. He could be great for the sport.

Give him a little time. Haye burst onto the scene damn near overnight and as quickly as he came, saw, and conquered he was out. He went up to HW to rumble with the big boys. His following will grow in the U.S., especially if he puts up a spirited effort in his defeat to Vitali.

And I don't think him being British would be much of a problem. Americans will embrace foreign fighters if they are exciting and likable (think pacquiao for example). Lennox Lewis, at least the way I remember it, was disliked and everyone in the US always went for his opponents not so much cuz he wasn't american but because he was an ******* and not in a good way, people just didn't like his personality or his fighting style.

David Haye is an outspoken charismatic guy who loves to be in the public eye. He used to work as a model so "he loves the camera". David Haye is the type of guy that easily could be a mainstream star. I can see him on Jay Leno making jokes and talking a lot of **** lol.

I agree David Haye will be good for boxing and could potentially be a mainstream star. I hope Vitalli has nothing to say about that

David Hayes fight was most viewed on youtube if that means anything, if he beats Viltai he has big fights here in the US with Arrola, and Solis.

Vitali will easily KO Haye and send him back to the cruiserweight division where he belongs.

If Haye can win all the belts at heavyweight he could become big over in America he would get more fans than the klits due to his style, but the Vitali fight is going to be very difficult but he has a chance.
