    Why are judges so old?

    why? are they suppose to have more knowledge on judging boxing then a youger fella?

    they should do away with official judges.

    they should have a random draw of qualified boxing writers/reporters who are attending the fight.

    have it done right before the fight too to avoid bribery.

      Thats not a bad idea, anything to help clean the sport up.

          I'd prefer to have older judges. Experience. They know what they're doing because they've been through it before.....like in the 50's.

                  didn't i say qualified boxing writers?

                  those guys watch more fights than judges do.

                  i'm not talking about just any sportswriters.

                  i'm talking about guys that follow boxing for a long time.

                  how many times have you seen the boxing writers scorecards and it's more accurate than the official judges?

                    The age range should be 30-55 years old. After 55 you've been around long enough. And any of them making strange decisions should be evaluated.
