Is Pacquiao and Marquez the same size as Mayweather?

A certain genius in these boards seem to not understand the idea of the natural weight classes for fighters.

He seems to think that since Marquez and Pacquiao have been coming into the ring at 144 and 147 in their 130 and 135 fights that it means they're the same size as Floyd.

Well? Are Marquez and Pacquiao the same size as Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

    pacquiao

    28 fights at flyweight
    11 fights at super bantamweight
    4 fights at featherweight
    8 fights at super featherweight
    1 fight at lightweight
    1 fight at welterweight

    marquez

    50 fights at featherweight
    3 fights at super featherweight
    1 fight at lightweight

out of 107 fights total for those two guys only 14 were at 130 or above.

floyd started his career at 130 (actually at 135 since he was weighing in at 131 or 133 a lot of times)

out of the 107 total fights for manny and juanma only 3 were at 135 or higher.

floyd won his lightweight championship 6 years ago!

I wouldn't mind seeing them fight,

but Mayweather's clearly much bigger than Marquez

Floyd's like 5'9" and he's fought at ww for a while now

How small is Manny Pacman compared to Mayweather???
Manny P at 125 come fight night was 137
Manny P at 130 come fight night was 139
Manny P at 135 come fight night was 147
Manny P at 147 at fight night was 148

Mayweather at 130 come fight night was 131
Mayweather at 135 come fight night was 137
Mayweather at 140 come fight was 143
Mayweather at 147 come fight night is 149

Mayweather and Pacman both at the age of 16 fought at 106. Don’t let Tua use fights at lower weights to blind your thinking. If Mayweather started at 16 he would be fighting at the same weight as Pacman.

They are the same weight at WW and PACMAN AT 140 weights the same as Mayweather at 147/ Pacman walks around heavier

You bitchslapped him wit this Tua. But the Floydboys don't give a ****. If he comes back, he absolutely cannot fight a top WW. It's like sacrilege to them.

Too much is put into "natural weight." Fighters can and have done unusual things to make great fights. I think we should encourage this and not disparage it.

                  in order (size wise)

                  money may

                  pacqui

                  jmm

now, in terms of girth and length, we need to ask stunin about money may, tua about pacqui and xcaret about jmm

Not much difference in weight. You completely ignore the fact that Mayweather is older so would fill out more earlier and also Mayweather stated before he could have milked out 135 but wanted Oscar fight. Also Manny P started his pro career earlier that why he has more fights at those very low weights.

Mayweather won national Golden Gloves championships in 1993 (at 106 lb) whem he was 16, 1994 (at 114 lb) when he was 17

Just because Mayweather had more weights at higher weight does not make him bigger. In your theory Toney is bigger than Haye.
