I see Bradley as being the future of 140. I like that he and Holt are finally trying to get these titles cleaned up, instead of having belts scattered everywhere. I like Bradley by stoppage and Holt being caught in an exchange. For a chin as bad as his, he trades a lot and if Bradley landed the same right hand that he landed against Witter, Kendall could be put to sleep.

Bradley is a very sharp and focused boxer,.. he didn't look great against Witter but did enough to win,.. Bradley by UD over Holt,.. I doubt Hatton would risk his crown and possible multimillions against the mostly unrecognized champ,.. but it would be a good match up.

I really like Timothy Bradley. Holt better not even try to wait for Pacquiao because he is the farthest thing from Manny's mind. Unify the titles. This is what boxing needs more of.

          There is only one

There's already a singular champion in your weight class. It's Ricky Hatton. Pay Attention. No one recognizes those sanctioning racket trinkets anymore. But if collecting a bunch of them gets you a shot at the champ, Good Luck & Congratulations.

Bradley needs to give Witter his re-match!

I believe Witter will come again and that he is the best 140lbs fighter out there!

why he beat him pretty easily unless you look at the terrible scorecards. all witter did was switch from southpaw to orthodox a billion times. guess that won him a bunch of rounds.

just because you like a fighter doesn't mean he deserves shots. he did absolutely nothing to defend his title so he got it taken away from him. JWW is the best division in boxing, especially with guys like bradley and holt looking to fight the best instead of waiting for the sideshows like hatton and pacq. Let the old dogs die off and let the new blood carry the sport by us elevating and acknowledging their greatness and hunger. glad to see hatton and pacq do not posess any "trinkets" so we wont have them interfering in unification bouts a la dlh.

these are the talented youth we get to look forward to. what if berto decided to move down as well? demand to see these guys and enjoy what real boxing should be like.

Good post. What do you think of Victor Ortiz? I think he might become a major factor at 140 in the future.

I think Hattons pressure would beat Tim but it would be a pretty close fight. Tim is a more polished fighter than Paulie but I kind of see the fight going that way but with Bradley winning about 4 rounds. Tim just isn't powerful enough to keep Ricky off him with his pressure style of boxing. I still think the fight would be pretty exciting though. Tim is the future at 140 though and I enjoy watching his fights. I also like that he seems rather intelligent compared to some of these American fighters.
