    can hatton handle pacquiao's speed?

pacquiao moving up in weight actually made him super fast and is apparent in the diaz/de la hoya fights, do you think hatton can handle pacman's speed?

I dont know about all that. Diaz is kind of slow & clumsy anyway while Oscar is older and I think the Southpaw stance was more of a factor then Pac's pure speed. Meanwhile Hatton just fought Floyd & Paulie in back to back fights and both of those guys are fast. I dont think Pac's speed will shock him too much. Hatton's speed may actually shock Pac even more. However, Pac's combination of speed, southpaw stance, and power will give Hatton and his questionable D some fits

Hatton doesn't need to worry about the speed, he's seen it before. He needs to worry about cuts. Pacquiao has some serious pop, and Ricky's face is one big glob of scar tissue.

As much as I like PAC...Hatton is not old, this is Hattons weight class and he throws alot more punches..I give the edge to Hatton.

No. Hatton won't know what the hell to do with Pacquiao.

I really like Hatton, but Pac will beat him badly. He won't be trouble for Pac's hand speed, he'll be troubled with Pac's footwork.

Doubt it. he can handle his power and won't get hurt by any 1 shot Pac can throw at him. But I don't think Pac will stand still enuf for Hatton to get inside and use his strength advantage as much as he'll need to.

The answer is yes he can but he is going to knocked out. He cuts up too easily, lacks defenese against the straight right, and will be harder and more often than ever before and he will be koed. Peace
