Margarito and Cotto are not worth Floyd's time

The logical choice for PBF is Pacman. Margarito and Cotto...too big of a risk and the payoff would not be as great as Pacman. Don't get me wrong, I loved to see him fight either one of them...but it just aint going to happen! Hatton...been there...done that. Nothing else to prove against Hatton.Comment

Yet everyone considered Floyd Mayweather the best welterweight by unifying the titles against who again???
Floyd fought Sharma Mitchell, Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir...who we all know WAS NOT the best welterweight in the world. Why didn't Floyd unify the division if he was the best? Instead he chose to go up in weight for the money, then have a smaller fighter come up in weight for an easy win, and more big money. That's all good and all, you gotta make your money. But don't expect people to seriously consider you the best welterweight in the world if you're not fighting the toughest challengers in your division.
After Floyd retired, most people considered Cotto the best welterweight. Margarito beat him, now he's the best. Williams beat Margarito before that, but he's no longer fighting in the divison, so at this moment Margarito is the best welterweight in the world. No need to unify....Floyd didn't.
So that's what Margarito brings to the table, a fight with the best welterweight in the world.Comment
