Why is Shane Mosley considered "GREAT"? IMO he should never use "Sugar" again!!!

He is a great athlete with great speed and decent power but he never really did anything GREAT. He is FAR from a GREAT fighter.

I mean the guy lost 2 times a piece to Winky and Vernon. A guy who was on Roids to beat oscar. A guy who hasnt had a big win since June of 2000.

He beat Oscar the fist time. Beat some bums. Beat a guy who was not even close of what he once was in Vargas and Mosley was losing or had a draw in the first fight before they stopped it. Then beat Oscar on Roids which EVERYONE NOWS HE LOST. He lost to Oscar with ROIDS. What a damn shame. Lost to Cotto. WTF, and he is GREAT? I hardly consider him good. He is an upper echelon gate keeper. That is it.

The dude is the meaning Over Rated.

I think he is proclaimed great because he is exciting and is always willing to go out on his shield. He always fights the best, and when he loses he takes the rematch (don't know what the deal was with Cotto though). But to say he isn't even good or that he is a gatekeeper is going overboard.

Hell No. Shane fought over rated tomato cans... He had some decent win at 135 but nothing special. He naturally grew bigger and stronger ( I dont know about the NATURALLY part). He had to move up. He is and over rated good name. He NEVER won any BIG FIGHTS except for Oscar 1. Winky and Vernon are good and maybe even a little bit better than good, but noether is GREAT.

Shane was like a used car salesman. He made his wins look better than then they were and the negatives almost obsolete.
