It's really funny. If you actually listen to what HE'S SAID, meaning he's said to the public, not a note he wrote or something he told his yes-men, HE said that he was not retiring, but would not fight in calendar 2008 or 2009. Everything else, really, is just speculation. It makes sense that the rumors are starting now...he will probably fight next in early 2010 or late 2009. Him saying he's retired in a note or whatever, really just makes things bigger. That way, we'd actually believe he was retired...

Did you actually see him say that?? He knew he couldn't say it to the public, because he really wasn't serious about retiring. I'm talking about right after the Hatton fight, when he said he would not fight in 2008 or 2009.
