WAs there something in the water back in the early 1900 hundreds?

Cos they were freaks of nature back then trained on whores and gin then fight every other week against who ever not carering about weight class, Men like Jack Johnson, Jackie Blackburn, Stanley Ketchel, Joe walcot, joe gans Harry greb, mick walker they were all freaks of nature with cast iron chins to go with it! As a fellow fan and fighter they amaze me!

eh. maybe you should watch some of those guys' full fights. they got pretty uneventful at times. lots of clinching, lots of feints, not a lot of clean punches. its quite a feat they could go that many rounds all the same, but keep in mind that its not like they were actually fighting the whole time.

30? Man, the longest fight ever was Bowen vs. Burke, they went at it for well over 7 hours. 110 rounds, I think it was!

              It was a draw.

I dunno about that. I mean, guys back then fought at REALLY slow paces. fighters back then used to get double DQed for lack of action, the fight would be listed as a NC. and this didnt happen to just bums or anything. top fighters.

a lot of modern fighters would get left in the dust by old time fighters. but I dont see most old heavyweights surviving past the 12th round against guys like Wladimir or Vitali.

Plz say your jokeing me?? Jack Johnson would of beat both klitchko's on the same night! he is just to much man for them both, i would also give both walker and greb a chance aswel as both men often beat heavyweights
