My opinion on Why the Klitschkos' are not Respected More by White People

I know a lot of people are not too keen on the Klitschkos' for various reasons. But the people who seem to particularly not appreciate their style are fellow white people. This in turn aggravates some other white people who presume this is out of hatred for their own race or simply jealousy. I don't believe this to be the case at all. I think people look for a certain type of person to look up to, depending on the situation. Boxing is a macho, combat sport. It would therefore seem plausible to believe that most people choosing someone to look up to, will choose people who fit certain values they admire. Certainly a young teenage white kid, will, on average admire a seemingly tough, gritty, and attack minded person [in relation to boxing or a combat sport]. Other races will probably look up to those same qualities. I cannot possibly say that every white person who doesn't like the Klitschkos' doesn't like them because they appear to lack that. But I do Know, that a fellow like Fedor Emelianenko, who is seen as a badass and tough, is not nearly as disapproved of.

The same person who may admire an actor like John Wayne or Clint Eastwood, may not admire another equally good actor who lacks the characteristics Wayne or Eastwood have or had. So it has to be concluded, that race is a factor, but only insofar as what that person sees as good qualities in a human being , or qualities that are appreciated in a certain field. So while almost everyone would like these brothers to be more exciting, it is perhaps white people who feel the most displeasure by it all.

It's a cultural and class issue. Klitschko fans tend to be educated, white men between 25 and 40. Teenagers and middle class people seek a different image to identify with, which is more like the kind of thing you're suggesting.

In my mind to be a Wlad fan brings a certain distinction with it.

You really do need to meet some req's if you are to become a fan of Klitschko, and especially Wlad.

Besides a few morons who are their fans solely on racial/ethnic basis.

I know what youre saying but there's no point in trying to analyse **** that people like Tunney and Wlad Owns have their own, demented theories about.

I mean, we should ask.....why must it be a pre-requisite for a white person to be a fan of white boxing champion? Surely the notion that the white person MUST be a fan of the Klits is ******ed?

And they're basing it on the idea that these white people are trying to the reverse of what Michael Jackson did. Yeah, apparently Terrible and Danc1984 are closet minstrels because they have black fighters in their sigs.

There is no point in trying to rationalise with these crazies, man. They have their agendas and will push it non-stop.

It's not that a white person has to be a fan of the Klitschkos, but when you see hate thread after hate thread made by Danc1984 and Terrible (now known as Dynamite Kid) about one white boxer after another, then don't you see there is something strange about those guys?

I'm not saying they need to be a fan of anyone, and it has nothing to do with who they have on their sigs/avatars! No, it's the numerous hate/discredit threads aimed EXCLUSIVELY at white boxers, and their nasty comments directed toward those fighters' fans, that reveals some kind of self-hate on their part. Find me one negative comment Danc1984 ever made about a non-white fighter? Find one positive thread about a white boxer among the hundred plus made by Terrible/Dyanamite Kid?
