Lol yeah right. Its a boxing match, but at certain times its a fight. So you do whatever you need to win?

I dont care if it would have made a difference, the ref or Mosley didnt know the score. Even Jack told his son going into the 12th "you need a KO".

It would be different if Mayorga had ran up on him with some wild right hand and decked him. I find it hard to believe that if the situation were reversed, you would be saying the same thing

*** that. You are just imposing ridiculous expectations on Mosley right there.

Oh wow, he didn't return to his neutral corner immediately, what an *******. You basically said that you think less of him because he didn't do that, do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds?

It is also amusing that someone whose favourite fighter is Ricky is saying they hold less respect for someone because they did not follow the rules 100%. Never mind that your boy is pretty much a goddam animal.

Sugar Shane fan for life. He is a warrior and backs down from no one. His speed and power were a phenomenal combination at lightweight, and they were pretty impressive even as an older fighter competing as a welterweight. And Shane is a good person too, always respectful, and showing love to his fans.

I hope Sugar can pull it off against Margarito too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rules are rules, enforce them or dont have them. He knew what he was doing.

No I dont think less of him because of just that. Also the fact he was on steroids for who knows how long. Then looked at the public and boxing fans, and told a straight lie. I dont care how you cut it, thats a cheat.

Whatever Mayorga does out of the ring doesnt matter. In the ring hes the one who fought fair, not Mosley.

I don't dispute that he cheated, and personally my opinion of him has been lowered as a result of that.

I was purely pointing out how ridiculous your argument was in relation to the 12th round of the Mayorga fight.

Let me put it this way, if you think badly of a guy for what Shane did in that round, you would pretty much hate every boxer going round. It is illegal to hit in the back of the head too. Are you going to hate every guy who has done that? How about low blows? Blows after the bell? What about excessive use of vaseline? That is against the rules.

I also have a hard time believing that if Mayorga wasn't the one that was defeated by Mosley, you wouldn't be complaining. Had it been another boxer I'm sure it wouldn't cross your mind. And that's from the most respectable way I can put it...

Most of that is a done in the heat of the moment, where it wasnt really their intent or is out of the boxers hands. Molsey with a clear mind, made a decision to clearly break the rules.

Watch your RJJ gif to show you how a boxer should react in the event of a knockdown.

They are all done in the heat of the moment? What kind of **** is that? Are you saying that when two guys are in a clinch and one ofthem decides to whack the guy in the back of the head it is 100% instinct? How about Joe? He admitted to intentionally low-blowing Hopkins to repay him for the KD in their fight. I guess he is a rule-breaking ******* as well huh?

You don't have to bother replying to this post. I just find your line of argument completely ridiculous and I think you would find pretty much any rational and intelligent person would agree with me.

                  Carry on.

For such logic, you would have to posit that each boxer thinks and acts the same, similar to robots. Surely not all boxers will think the same way. Therefore you cannot point to a fight and say "this is how Mosley should've acted". There is no universal way of thinking and acting in boxing...They are their to entertain and win, and Shane still at that age had the heart to win. How he can be criticized for it is quite odd...

                      I love Sugar Shane...

But I gotta admit that on the night he fought Cotto I wanted Mosley to win so bad that I had him winning the fight, but after I watched it like two different times I can see Cotto clearly winning on the score cards, I think Cotto did enough to pull the win, he landed crisper shots overall
