I don't like the guy because in 2009 he had a chance to inject some life into boxing as one of the few names that appeal to the mainstream sports fan and he simply didn't do it.

I'm aware that he doesn't NEED to do anything. But I also don't NEED to like him.

Without their chins, Margarito and Tua may as well have been bums on the street. I mean that with all sincerity. I've never seen anyone with less skills get as far in boxing as Margarito. Without his chin, that guy is no better than anybody in the world.

the man is 39-0, titles in 5 weight classes, wins over prime corrales, castillo,

wins over oscar, zab, carlos B, mitchell, hatton, and G hernandez

he started at super featherweight and has boxed up to junior middleweight, often giving away weight

he beat hatton fair and square, it wasnt the ref (who committed the horrible crime of not letting hatton hold and hit), and it wasnt the ringpost, he dominated him and KO'd him

it would have been nice to see him fight margarito or cotto, but really the coward accusations arent justified...he is an elite fighter who has done things no e-thug floyd haters have ever done...he aint a coward, and hes not even a real welterweight...

and he will come back and fight at least once more, i know that

so why do you guys hate him...cause he talks trash? cause he wins?

or maybe its because he backs up his talk, he always says hes gonna win, and he always does

yes, because guys who stay at one weight class and never step out of their comfort zone deserve more credit than guys who keep moving up.

do you know what all the all time greats have in common?

they kept moving up and kept winning.

shane skipping 140 was to chase him.

floyd could have fought marg or cotto if he hadn't gone to fight oscar at 154.

we would have maybe seen pac-marquez 3 if oscar hadn't needed an opponent this december.
