I was a fan of Hatton back in the day, but then he took the fight with Mayweather and i just said damn Ricky you're going to get ktfo, and i was right. Never really liked him again after that and have always though he's looked weak since.

Have always been a Calzaghe fan though. If Calzaghe was American it would be so much different. It's just because he's British that he gets so much stick from the Americans.

Where are the Hatton fans??? I don't see Hatton in anyones sig anymore nobody has Hatton on their favorite fighters list. I just see Calzaghe fans..Does it seem to you that euro fans lean towards the best fighter or sustain a favorite throughout? I remember coming on here before Hatton met floyd and saw Hatton just on about every Euros avi and sig now he's a ghost..Couple more questions..Do a fighters fans take away respect u have for a fighter? Like these Calzaghe fans that make him out to be some invincible god with an iron chin and 500-0 record with cannons for hands? Or mayweather fans that automatically pick him to be favorite over any fighter on the planet even on a bad night with a flu and food poisoning?

I don't think anybody could say Calzaghe isn't a geniune elite operator capable of competing at the very highest level with the very best fighters in and around his division.
