      Then Ricky should have stuck to actually throwing when inside and not hugging.

      Hatton also said that Tszyu only managed to hit him with a couple of clean right hands. The left-hook was the one that was actually landing nicely on Hatton. And, Tszyu was breathing through his mouth by about the 5th round so the pop in his punch was wearing out.
      Remember, just like Hatton said and many others; Tszyu's power in his right comes at the end of a fully extended punch and not anything before.
      We also don't know how strong Tszyu was that night given the circumstances with weight. He was said to have a tough time making weight and failed on his first attempt. Tszyu also said he felt "flat" which means his power and strength probably weren't up to par either.

      Floyd's punches are also harder to see and the punch you don't see coming can hurt you.

        Mayweather was timing that left hook all night and even led Hatton that exact corner several times. Most fighters would of been out cold from that hook. You act as if Hatton wasn't aggressively running after Floyd the whole fight. Even in the first round Mayweather was landing flush right hands and lead left hooks. Ricky is no defensive wizard and even without this so called "desperation" he is still getting hit clean with that punch.

          Hatton fans are the most pathetic fans ever, the ref was so much more biased in the Tszyu, fight, floyd was beating hatton on the inside outside, and countering him with the left hook all night, hatton didn't make any excuse so his fans shouldn't either.

            ...I saw the fight and I was shocked that Hatton didn't go down 2 times...he got stood up on his heels but kept coming...I was shocked...and I'm really shocked that Koysta quit, admittedly after being hit so few times...the funny thing here is that people aren't seeing how Hatton wears people down, enough so Koysta was breathing heavy by the 5th...he doesn't just wear you down with punches, he wears you down by you fighting him off of you, trying to keep him from hitting you...he's a rough character that has done this in all of his fights...Koysta has never been roughed up before and he's a hard punching version of Mayweather...he's a very good boxer and when he's in the middle of the ring, he will eventually land that one straight right that has you doing the "fish flop"...except Hatton didn't go down...the pyschological part of boxing is over looked, so imagine if you are Koysta and you hit a guy with your best punch, a punch that has dropped a whole bunch of opponents, and all it does is back him up for a second...and then he starts roughing you up again...you either take the beating like a man or you quit...Hatton is a throw back to the 50's & 60's, that just doesn't wear you down with punches, he makes you work every muscle in your body trying to keep him off of you...he's a heck of a good FIGHTER...

              ...getting hit clean "when you are set and ready" is not an issue...getting hit clean, "when you aren't set and ready because you are in desparation mode because you can't get done what you need to get done" is different...I used to box and I never got hurt once...then I took someone lightly and got KTFO...Hatton got caught off guard and the rest is history...

                Hatton = bad at math.
