Totally agree with same day weigh ins....I guarantee many careers will be effected...and most certain that Margarito's career would be. We all know.. unless were in denial that many fighters use this weight thing as an advantage to have an edge. WE ALL KNOW WHO THESE FIGHTERS ARE...whether your hugging the nut or admiring the nut from afar.

Since 1996 Margarito has fought under the 147 pound weight limit 11 times. How is this gonna force him out of the welterweight division when he isn't having trouble making the weight.

Plus I would really like to see the link that tracks how much Margarito's recent opponents weighed over the last 3 or 4 years.

Listen the boxing world doesn't revolve around Margarito ..so relax. All that was stated is that there should be same day weigh ins. Just because you fight in a certain weight class doesn't mean you walk into the ring the same weight. Who said anything about forcing a fighter out? That must have been what you felt would happen if he was forced to weigh in on the same day...because I didn't say that.

every weight class would be affected by this. excluding the heavyweights. When manny was at 130 he'd come in fight night at 145 so i guess he was picking on smaller people too? I guess hatton should be fighting at light heavyweight?
