I actually had to read threads on how he was going to whip Hopkins ass with his new found boxing ability.

Now it's the same **** with Pacquiao. Pac learns how to throw a left hand without the telegraphing jab, and now he's KO'ing Mayweather and Mayweather is scared.

          GIMMIE A BREAK.

Pac has made some slight improvements in his game over the last few fights, but he's still the same basic in and out, quick, powerful puncher. Very similar to a prime Shane Mosley at lightweight (who was exposed by the first rangy boxer he fought with a solid jab). BUT HE'S STILL TOO BASIC FOR THE GREAT FLOYD MAYWEATHER.

I still see Pac making mistakes, leaving himself wide open for counters, and getting hit cleanly (isn't it cute how he puts his arms up in the air in victory every time he gets smashed in the face??). Hell, we don't even hear Freddie Roach mention Pac's "MANILLA ICE" anymore...... he just gave up trying to add a right hook to PacMan's repertoire.

Fact is he's still just a 1,2 fighter from distance who's very agile, powerful, and explosive. Floyd will make MINCE MEAT out of him.

          END THE MYTH OF PACQUIAO.

Yeah that straight left is so easy to avoid just ask the GREAT fighters Pacquiao has nailed with it, and beaten, you know those the guys that could not avoid it. Pac may throw it differently but that does not mean it is not a very effective weapon. The jab before Pac shoots the left hand acts as a feint more than anything so he can put the left hand behind it.

It sounds too simplistic to think Mayweather will not get hit with it. I mean you would of thought Vernon Forrest would of been able to counter the **** outta Mayorga the way he gets himself outta position and throws his right hand. Joe Cazlaghe is another one he throws wide hooks and squares himself up and whilst he has left himself open before he is still unbeaten. Jermain Taylor got the better of Hopkins twice and his technique also leaves a lot to be desired but was Hopkins able to take advantage the way he should of ? NO

Being unorthodox in Boxing gives you an edge thats why Leftys are so difficult to deal with, because you dont see them everyday in sparring and you dont box them all that often unless you are Bernard Hopkins who seems to have fought 50 Southpaws in his career. Conventional fighters are easier to deal with, because you have faced that style so many times.

Trinidad and DLH were both coming off layoffs,Pacman is fighting at least 3 times a year, taking on better fighters,or bigger, and continuing to show better skills each time around, not a fair comparison!!

Not anywhere near a valid comparison, imo. Trinidad (the victor) was far far past his best and coming out of retirement for that fight. Not to mention that Mayorga was in various big fights after taking the best a faded Tito had to offer. Will Oscar (the vanquished coming out semi-retirement) after his drubbing at the hands of the Pacman?

Pacman wasn't on Barrera's level, Morales' level and dela Hoya's level too, but Pacman leveled them.

Mayweather will be favored to win this fight, Pacman will be schooled, Mayweather will give Pacman a beatdown: on these boards but in the ring it's a different story.

The Word was that Floyd and Tszyu were set to fight after Tszyu got by Hatton and Floyd by Gatti. Both were on seperate channels and needed a big boost to make the fight on PPV with both channels (HBO and Showtime) coming together. Blame Tszyu for losing to Hatton.

The rest may be fair...except for Pac since Floyd retired before Pac even made the move up to 135.

Margarito, Cotto, and Williams are the big 3.
