Hopkins should move up to heavyweight

I think Bhop should move up to heavyweight outside the Klits and Haye he could probably beat most off them, as long as he kept his weight low and didn’t put on to much muscle or fat i think he would have a good chance against Valuev.

I can see B-Hop beating Valuev and I'd give B-Hop an 80% chance. Goes to show how **** Valuev is

I'd favor him against Valuev for obvious reasons. There are a lot of guys at Heavyweight that Hopkins could completely befuddle with his crafty, technical approach. Obviously fighting Klitschko would be suicide.

I wonder if he's mulling it over? I know he wanted to fight Maskaev a while back.

It'd be a great cap off to his historic career, and if he took a strap that would equal Jones taking Ruiz's title, furthermore squashing the beef over who has the greater legacy.

But that remains to be seen. If he hangs them up, no one can fault him. But something tells me, he's going to fight again.

B-Hop should do it. The man is a fan of boxing unlike alot of fighters so I'm sure he has seen how **** the H.W division is...He should jump on Valuev. We shouldn't worry about Valuev refusing considering that fight would be his biggest pay day. Unless Valuev is as ****** as he looks

          I believe.

I wouldn't be surprised if he could manage picking up 2 belts. How far up the ATG list would Hopkins go if he could produce such a feat?

He probably is as ****** as he looks. And he'd probably take the fight thinking he had even a puncher's chance.

              Hopkins legacy >>> Jones legacy

True story from a Jones fan/Hopkins hater.

Depends on where you rank him I suppose. Most lists I see have him in the top 50, usually in the mid 40's. With Jones being well ahead of him, and I just don't see how. All of Roy's losses were embarassing KO's and shutouts by guys Hopkins dominated (Johnson, Tarver) or was highly competitive with (Calzaghe). Hopkins on the other hand, has never lost convincingly aside from the Jones fight, when he was still "green" as we say.

I've always thought of Hopkins as the better man in terms of Legacy and he continues to prove it, yet most people still rank Roy ahead of him because prime for prime, Roy had more skills.

I'm with you on that. I've been saying Hopkins was the better fighter for years, and with the Tarver, Wright, Calzaghe SD loss (which many thought he won), and Pavlik string he went on, he cemented it IMO.

Bernard continues to defy his age, while Roy continues to show his.
