Then again, Mayweather's fan base was really small at that time as well. But there is no doubt that what very few people where there where supporting Mayweather.

The rest? Employees who recieved free tickets to watch the fight.
maybe they where the ones leaving ..

I believe they left because it wasn't gonna go anywhere. Mayweather hit him with everything and couldn't hurt him...those shots would hurt many WWs btw.

Was it really an exciting fight?

Floyd was in control the whole time, there was no drama, and even when Baldy had his moments it never seemed like he was ever going to do any damage.

It was one sided. But Floyd did throw some beautiful shots. Yet his pot shotting isnt really exciting IMO.
There was never much drama in Floyds fights.

What made it dull, was no matter that neither guy had the power to hurt one another. Mayweather landed all sorts of leather and couldn't so much as make Carlos blink, and the few times Carlos did land, it was clear that he was not going to dent Floyd, who also has an excellent chin.

Everytime Mayweather would land everyone would yell OHHH!!! OHHH!! OHH!! He threw the meanest hooks/ straights...can't believe Baldy took em.

Oooh, i couldnt do that. U must be a Floyd fan. There are only a few of his fights that i really like to watch.

Maybe that Baldy fight promised much more than it delivered.

I think Floyd has more to offer than we have seen. He needs to be hurt, or behind on points. I dont think he has been either in his career.

Wouldn't that be offering less if he is behind on the cards and getting rocked by punches?????

Floyd can offer more, but it's offense Bob's after. Once MW realizes he has a guy in front of him that can't do anything with him he should turn the defense down and put the pedal to the metal. I think that's the only thing lacking that can cost him a fight if he returns against the top dogs at 147 btw.

It may sound easy when you type it out like that but Mayweather changed his style a bit when he moved up in weight. He is more defensive minded to protect his chin. The odd thing is,his chin doesn't need protecting.

                    [IMG][/IMG]

He was much more aggressive in the lower weightclasses

How was it not a dull fight ? People tend not to walk out of arena when the fight is entertaining especially when they have payed for their ticket.
