    Look how far we've come

In the past 3 years, just look at how far we've come in terms of making great fights, and having great years.

2006 started it all IMO, you started to see some better fights shaping up, and things overall started looking upward.

2007 was a stellar year IMO, so many action packed fights, it really built off of what 2006 had started a year earlier.

This year has been insanely good.

And now 2009 is shaping up to be great as well with talks of Abraham/Pavlik, Pacquiao/Hatton, a Cotto/Margarito rematch, Floyd possibly coming back, Lopez/Vazquez, etc.....

Anyone here remember watching boxing back in like, 2004 and 2005? And how you'd wait forever for a good fight to show up, but you watched all the garbage anyway just to get your fix?

that was mainly Roy and B-Hop's fault for not taking on legit opposition all those years from 2002 to 2005

the lower weights did their part though

the Morales', Pacquiao's, Corrales', Barrera's and Castillo's of the world were all making high quality matchups and delivering with great fights

heavyweight division ****** as much as it does today

I'm really not impressed with 2009's boxing schedule. A lot of ducking goin on.
