Since he was ranked in the ring top 5 among welterweights (he's still in the top 10), considered to be the biggest puncher in the division, and is also a two time beltholder. He's not an alltime elite fighter in the division but he was among the verybest in the division before Margarito handed him his ass.

I already know where this is going because every fighter Tony beats people are gonna make the excuse that he never really was an elite fighter to begin with like they did with Cotto.

NO! kermit had an interim belt becaue margarito moved up im weight,then he got his ass handed to him by santos and went back to 147.we all know what happened.

COTTO IS STILL ELITE! margarito has alot of ????. imagine people are STILL picking cotto to win the REMATCH.
