This is one of the best fights that can be made in 09 and one of the best middlweight fights if not the best middlweight fight that can be made right now.

arthur is a better fighter than pavlik based on what? if abraham is so much better than pavlik why is he not the man at 60? after all he's been a title holder, and a top guy longer than pavlik.

This would be a great fight, though it would have been even better if Pavlik wasn't humiliated by Bernard Hopkins. I know that fight was at 170 pounds, but that type of loss takes alot out of a fighter. Still, Kelly Pavlik is one of the most devestating punchers I've seen in the middleweight division. The second Taylor fight proved that he can box fairly good as well. Abraham's style really impresses me though. That peek-a-boo defense is great, because when his opponent is least expecting it, he sneaks an extremely hard shot out that seemingly would KO most heavyweights. Almost all of his fights seem one-sided against him, until he lands something substantial. After that, the fight's over. My pick? Very tough, but I think Abraham would probably knock Kelly out.

Fair enough. I actually laughed when I saw this post. I don't have that many points, but when the time comes , I'll bet some of them w/ya' , if you're willing.

I'm very happy for this fight. F.uck Sturm, he can fight his little fights like a *****. You gotta give it to AA, he seeks the most difficult fights out there. It's a tough fight for both fighters, as Pavlik can be hurt and AA has power to hurt him. AA, on the other hand, will have to deal with an extremely active fighter who is very powerful himself. It's a tough fight to call but I think AA will win by TKO in late rounds.
