No offence, but Oscar embarrassed himself against Pacquiao and should retire himself immediately.

i don't think it's "****ing ******ed" about fighters retiring early.

what if they've made all the money they want, are financially stable and have no real other big options left?

like post Pacquiao .. how many big fights are left for Hatton?

he's already 45-1 ... how much longer do you expect Ricky to fight?

Hatton has always said that he would retire at 30. So after he beats Pac, having a farewell fight in the UK makes sense. A DLH/Hatton fight would be huge in Europe and plenty of DLH fans will watch it in America.

I am with you. 150 punches landed to your head times 40 fights plus all the shots taken in sparring....

retire if you can with your brain intact and a fat wallet, i say.

No, Hatton is not Pacquiao, and with Hatton style, he would certainly lose to ODLH.

at this point, and if Ricky gets carved up + stopped vs Pacquiao

would Hatton/DLH even sell as a fight?

                      granted there both big names

but who outside of the hardcore fans of each would care about a DLH/Hatton fight

it's practically meaningless at this point.
