Did Holyfield just get paid to lose?

I mean that was just the most lame excuse of a fight, then to top it off a dodgy decision, Holyfield looked like he knew what the score was, and Valuev was already celebrating his win before the scoring!

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

I'm sure Holyfield wanted to win and he probably knew he was going to get robbed in Europe.

If he got paid to lose than I doubt he would clearly beat the guy he was paid to lose against >_<

And not only that made it dodgy. Valuev seemed to be deliberately trying not to hurt Holyfield, who looked harmless. I don't know wtf was going on in this fight, but if you look at Valuev's fights on Youtube you will see that he was not even trying in this one.

Boxing is so f'ing crooked, and don't tell me about Europe, because it is more crooked here in the USA by far than anyplace else - and just to prove it you've got Don King sticking his ugly leering mug in front of the tv cameras after almost every big fight.

Don King isn't even a relevant promoter anymore.

              Bwahaha!

By the way, I just skimmed Mills Lane's book at the book store. At the time they were trying for the tenth time to put the fat bum in jail, but as usual they failed because blacks on the jury wouldn't vote to convict him, same as with OJ Simpson and countless other cases. Lane had some interesting things to say about the career criminal King, crooked refs and judges, etc.

He is ancient,a relic of how boxing shouldn't be run. Oscar and Golden Boy Promotions will clean the sport up. Don King has been dethroned!

Boxing has been gangster-run for a very long time, and instead of getting better it just gets worse. It's someplace between a real honest sport and "sports entertainment", like Vince McMahon's bizarre but popular wrestling thing, and a playground for the various mafiyas.
