That's the problem. Threadstarter isn'y really asking why Floyd doesn't get respect - he does. He's asking why won't put him on the same pedestal we put ATG's.

Thats basically the question all Mayweather fans ask. I think Floyd will get much more credit 10 years down the line, when compared to other greats. This has happened to all fighters.

I've read the whole post. It's just the same old stuff: why don't other people like Floyd as much as I do? Get used to the fact that some people will have different opinions than you will.

many ppl dont see wins as that great, if the fighter that lost doesnt do great things afterward.

ex:
if hopkins would have lost to kelly pavlik, alot of ppl would have said joe beat a shot bernard. In beating pavlik, bernard showed that he still had it, and that joe was just the better fighter.

Okay fair point. I thought you meant that if Hatton beats Pacquaio then Floyd would get credit for beating the man who beat the man. My bad

I rate the Hatton win as one of Floyd's best TBH. He is a very good fighter regardless of whether he beats Pacquiao.
