Mads Larsen Stops Roberto Cocco, Lucian Bute Next

On the undercard to Nikolai Valuev vs. Evander Holyfield in Switzerland, Danish super middleweight Mads Larsen, 51-2. stopped Italian Roberto Cocco, 9-3, in the seventh of a scheduled non-title ten rounder Larsen dominated Cocco in every round showing more fire in this fight than all of his previous five comeback bouts since returning in 2007.

Larsen looked good and much more confident since he came back. He was definetely a man on a mission.

The hype in Denmark reagrding a Kessler-Larsen fight is at it's max and I'd expect the morning papers to go trough the roof.

Larsen himself called out Kessler: "I want that unknown danish guy whatshisname? Kessler or something. But he doesnt want me. Bute does so he's next.

My dream is to fight Kessler in front of a packed Parken stadium in Copenhagen."

I've got a feeling that fight will come sooner rather than later since Kessler is having trouble finding a 'dance partner' in the US.

Ahaha please guys. Calm down. I was a fan of Larsen some years ago and I still like him for the boxer he used to be, but to say, that he will take Kessler to school and that the hype in Denmark is at is max, is to take the piss on everybody!!

Hell has to freeze over, before Larsen can give Kessler even some remote opposition and it's almost disrespectful to give Kessler that little credit.

Personally I don't think Mads can even handle Bute and he would certainly get a decent lesson by Andrade, who admittedly beat Bute, but had no chance against Kessler.

I doubt Mads Larsen in his prime could beat Kessler and by now he is in a completely other league low low below Kessler.

To say that he will take Kessler to school is an insult and I don't think Kessler should even consider fighting him. He is simply not worth the energy yet. To fight Larsen at this point would be way below Kesslers standard.

Kessler is the top dog, Larsen is merely a contender and thus no effort should be wasted on him yet.

Mads, take Butes belt, defend it a couple of times against decent opposition and then maybe just then could Kessler consider fighting him!!
