    JMM Never Hurt Pacquiao

I see people claiming all the time that JMM hurt or "rocked" Pacman during the span of their two fights, and I don't really see why. He was never hurt, my definition of hurt in a boxing match is where a fighter is in danger of going down or clearly is on unsteady legs. Pac took some good licks for sure, but was never in danger of being stopped or out of the fight.

JMM-Pac 2 had him stunned at the end of the 2nd round, but does anyone really think that JMM could've taken him out, even if he had followed up? Pac was even hopping around after the exchange and ****** his gloves as if to say "yeah nice shot, bring it *****." Watch it again. Worst case scenario he would've just covered up with his back to the ropes and used his feet to slither out of there.

Did someone say he hurt Pac? I didn't see it in either fight.

Stunned once or twice, but never hurt him.

He did box his damn ears off though.

the 8th or whatever where JMM landed 15 more shots then pacquiao (the total difference in the whole fight) was a TERRIBLE round for manny and yeah and i think he was in danger of being stopped had JMM really gone after him towards the end.

True. But there were a lot of people yapping off in the DLH fight buildup that "if JMM can hurt Pac, DLH is gonna murder him."

I wonder where those people are now?

They probably all died. Natural selection or something of the sort. ******ity of that kind has no place in the natural world.

To tell the truth : Even I thought Oscar's size advantage would be a lot for Manny to overcome. But I knew Oscar wasn't hurting or stopping his ass, he couldn't even pull the trigger on Steve Forbes.

yea i agree that JMM never hurt Pacquiao. like you said he did "stun" him a couple times with great counter shots but Pac was never in danger of being knocked down. i think the reason it looked like he was hurt worse than he actually was, was because Pacquiao was out of position n balance like he has shown to do in the past so it looked like he was goin down when in reality he was just not in good balance from the start

He had Pacquiao hurt real bad at the end of Round 2 in their rematch. And couple right hand counters stunned him.

But yea i never thought Pacquiao was on his way down or out the way i thought Marquez was

In Marquez' defense, he bloodied Pac with a perfect punch that started the cut in the rematch. I really thought Pac wouldn't be able to recover from that but Marquez didn't capitalize. He was still cautious of Pac's power. Then miraculously Pac was getting his sight and strength back thanks in part to Pac's cutman.
