Calderon is 34 in january, Cazares nearly caught up to him and he is not in the same league as Gonzalez.
Gonzalez took out the number one straweight Niida , who had held the title for 7 years in 3 1/2 rounds.
calderon is no fool, he knows who Gonzalez is and my guess is , he wants the fight on perfect terms for him because will catch him and hurt him.
Your lack of knowledge of Gonzalez makes you the one to laugh at.

Cazares didn't catch up with **** in the last fight.

He got his ears boxed off for every second of every round.

Calderon will not be allowed to run for 12 rounds, Gonzales will cut that ring off and hunt him down like a dog and then it will be goodnight, just like it was with Niida.
At 34 calderon cant keep him off for 12 rounds and he has no punching power.
What most people dont seem to realize is , Gonzalez is very technically gifted as a boxer as well as being a brutal finisher.

Calderon has never faced anyone like Gonzales, champions come and go; I think Calderon is an amazing fighter but what I see in Gonzales in something I havent seen for many years. A textbook boxer, super fast hands, the best uppercut in boxing with devastating power in both hands and a granite chin.

Bring it on HBO, it wont be as exciting as Hatton, Paquaio but we will get a new superstar, which is so badly needed.
