    I don't know...at 130 I don't see anyone beating Mayweather. At 135 JLC gave him a hard fight TWICE...Hard to say

well in my opinon most judges and the crowd and commentators as you mentioned tend to appreciate and buy into the more aggressive fighter verses the passive defensive slick counter puncher. castillo was a bad asss that night and pressured pbf like no one else was able to up to that point and everyone appreciated that more than pbf's slick counter punching

He avoids the best and handpicked his opponents.

I say Floyd is clearly beatable.

I don't think Floyd is nowhere near Roy. Floyd's legacy is just too questionable

I think sometimes regarding p4p greatness your are seen as a better fighter the more question marks there are over your head than answers, because its easy for people to assume what might of could of done.

          Yeah

You could tell Merchant was desperate for him to lose and he was just trying to paint a more exaggerated picture of what was actually happening.

Not taking risks??? What about facing Oscar at 154 on ring and with gloves all chosen by Oscar, that being his debut at 154? Plus he came in at 148 vs Oscar's +160! Allot different than the 149 Oscar weighed in against Pacman, taking nothing away from Pac but just so you know why Mayweather didn't do as well as Pacman. Hatton was also a very dangerous fight as was Castillo, Corrales and many others. He beat more cats on top of their games than anyone else in this generation. Sure he had his share of the not so fresh (shot or semi-shot) fighters but WHO HASN'T? I voted Roy was more beatable because of his lack of fundamentals but if you'd ask "pre-Ruiz" I'd say May.

merchant tends to pick his favorites and he sticks by them. i respect merchant cuz he doesnt kiss any of the fighters asses or try to hype up anyone if hbo tells him to.

merchant also tends to prefer the more aggressive fighter to the defensive fighter. thats why he loves pacquiao so much lol. as u probably know we owe merchant for the DREAM MATCH even happening, even bob arum gave him props as you probably saw lol

Yeah, Merchant is but a big fan. Nothing professional there.

yeah bro pre-ruiz RJJ was unbeatable. id say even more so before clinton woods, cuz there were times in the clinton woods fight where roy was up against the ropes and he like seemed more bored like hey ****k this either im going up to win the hw belt or this is my last fight cuz im bored.

I would say Jones was more beatable believe it or not. Floyd has a better chin and i think hes the better boxer as well, Jones always had problems with taller boxers because he always fought cautious against them and like terrible stated, you could break his rhythm if he was not ready. With that being said, i think Jones was the better athlete and more talented and exciting.
