Well that's a debatable point, which I didn't care to raise in this thread.

    But I'm glad you agree.

Basically people know Ricky = money. He's guaranteed to pack the stadium he fights in without even having to lift a finger.

I have never been entertained by a Ricky Hatton fight but thought I was in the minority. He holds and hits the whole fight and it's boring as ****

        Come on Bringer

I think Gatti is a much better boxer than Hatton albeit very easy to hit.

Not even close. Hatton is much quicker and craftier inside. He has better footwork than Gatti ever did. He's more agressive inside too.

He was a lot more exciting earlier in his career. He can be entertainig if he's ot mauling all fight. I watched the Tsyzu fight agai recetly and it looked a lot sloppier than I remember.

His fans makes his fights entertaining.
As for the way he fights, I can't stand his clinch and hit John Ruiz type of a style.
                I like his personality though.

I dont think That means he is better technically than Gatti.

Hatton does not have a jab where as Gatti does Hatton cannot throw a straight 1,2 which is basics for a technically good Boxer

If you take Hatton's best Boxing display Ben Tackie and you put it alongside some of Gatti's best Boxing performances, Gatti has shown superior Boxing ability Ward 2,Damgaard,Millett,Leija these were all better displays of controlled Boxing than anything Hatton has ever produced, infact Gatti looked excellent against Baldomir before Baldomir caught up with him.

Do YOU think he is entertaining ?

It seems to me Ricky himself is the only one who thinks he is entertaining, because when ever i speak to non Brits they say his style is trash and his fights are difficult to watch. Believe it or not there are even Brits out there that are not fans of Ricky's style.

I myself like to see him do well, but his style is not exciting anymore. Allthough Ricky's last fight was a tad more exciting, but still in general his style is frustrating to watch.

Hatton seems to think that if you go for it and show aggression and a willingness to make the fight that you are automatically entertaining........Someone needs to tell Ricky that people also like to watch stylists who combine that aggression with skill and technique which in turn makes them easier on the eye to watch, but above all people like to watch fighters that dont break the flow of the action by holding all the while.
He is entertaining to watch. The only thing is that he lack skills. But he is very entertaining!!!!!!

i think he is entertaining, but I do think that he thinks he is entertaining, and the fans think that he thinks he is entertaining, but I think that he is entertaining, even though I think myself he is entertaining, but I'm not sure if others see him entertaining, even though I think he is, but then again, I am not sure if he really is entertaining, because it is just me who thinks he is entertaining, which possibly might mean that he is not entertaining..
Hope that answers your silly question.
