Yeah. I would be surprised if both those dudes wouldn't go down from the first punch I threw. Look how wide their punches are! It's hilarious!

Zelenoff will win... and I know how pop-culture it is to make merry at Zelenoff's expense. It isn't like he hasn't given us all opportunity... but EVERYONE acts like his problems were skill related. I would suggest spending about an hour reading up on the tips from the greats (Steward, Duva, D'Amato, Nacho, and Dundee). You'll find a common thread... Short punches, fast hands, wide stance (for balance), head and foot movement, looking at opponent when punching (not looking at the mat before throwing a punch), etc. I'm not sure how many of our beloved Boxingscene posters have actually laced up for a quick spar or training session, but I'm assuming not many. The reason I say so, is because Zelenoff's problems were not skill related. Make a nice cup of cocoa, turn down the lights, and sit in front your computer in silence... and watch Zelenoff, Hartley, David Dumas, and Brian Strege all on youtube. You'll see that Zelenoff is the only one who looks technically sound. Those who REALLY know at least a little about the sport know that Zelenoff has the basics down. His problems were all about heart and letting frustration get to him. His problems were not technical or skill related. We're talking about a kid with NO amateur experience and no PRO experience on his first bout. If Zelenoff can become comfortable in a boxing match, he'll do fine. As far as "looking" like he knows what he's doing... he is already capable. Don't take my word... listen to the basics from the old school trainers mentioned above... make yourself a cute little checklist... and then mark off each time you see Zelenoff follow the primary rules of real boxing. His problems were a mental struggle... not lack of boxing ability. He'll get it down and start winning. Take that **** to the bank you panty-wastes.Comment

Nathan knows what he is talking about. I've been saying that for a long time now. Zelenoff has everything besides confidence. He talks a ton of **** but that's not real confidence. If I could hold the kid captive for a month or so I'd condition his mind and turn him into a brutal pugilist!
Unfortunately, he is a spoiled ass only child who will never voluntarily get whipped into shape....someone has to kidnap him to make it happen!Comment
