    Solo Boxeo 2000-2008

This is very depressing. I will be honest and say i didnt watch every single friday but i did try to watch at least 2 fridays of solo boxeo out of the month. I was lucky to see Mtagwa-Villa last month and what a war.

Anyways you dont know what you got until you lose it. Thats how i feel about solo boxeo. Out of all the times i missed the show and didnt care now it is going to suck.

I was lucky to go to two telefutura cards in houston, a Raul Marquez fight, and a Giovanni Segura fight, who just fought on the Cotto-Margarito undercard. They were awesome. And i got to meet Ricardo Celis and Bernardo Osuna, and they were gentlemen, real nice awesome guys you could go up and talk to after they were done commentating.

Anyways everyone tune in tonight for MIKE ALVARADO vs MIGUEL ANGEL HUERTA.

    last fight on solo boxeo.

shame the show is going off air.

It was a common occurance for Solo Boxeo to feature better fights than either FNF on the same night or the VERSUS card from the night before.

One less outlet for us to see good boxing on

I often found myself switching between Friday Night Fights and Solo Boxeo, most of the time I ended up leaving the channel on Telefutura because it had the most exciting fights. Not going to be the same anymore that's for sure.

I always think when people say, oh I've never seen this guy fight.

I think well if you woulda watched solo boxeo you could've seen him 4 times already.

It's a shame but it's an expensive show to produce, and they don't have the billionaire backer they had before when the show was in it's prime.

I thought the fights and the announcers were consistently good.

I saw Alex Valdez's/Kid Diamond/Montel Griffin's fight here during the summer and it was done by Solo Boxeo and while I didn't meet them, it was an awesome experience and Solo Boxeo was awesome.

            I'm sad it's gone.

I like watching fights in Spanish better. Maybe its just the announcers I like better I dunno. We lost Boxeo de Oro and now Solo Boxeo. We are supposed to be the nations largest minority than why the hell can't we keep our boxing shows on the air lol. HBO Plus should globalize and expland beyond just Latin America. Im sure last Saturday a lot of people would have loved to have seen the Roman "Rocky" Martinez fight.
